Swift 3D supports importing 3ds format and it can export the 3d scene or object in papervision3D format.
We can use that to make 3d mouse based interactive app.

Drag and scroll the mouse to rotate and zoom the object.

Augmented Reality

Augmented reality (AR) is a term for a live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are merged with-, or augmented by virtual computer-generated imagery - creating a mixed reality.
On youtube you can find cool demos by using this technology.
Working with cool 3D models and compositing the scenes.
Here two methods which i used to build AR app:

First:

Download BuildAr from here and watch the tutorials given about its usage.

Second:
(Developer's Choice)Write code for building AR app using Flash ARToolkit and Papervision 3D in Flex IDE.
In this you will have more control over the scene and will be getting familiar of using webcam in
flash environment.

Crayon Carvings

I used to do chalk carving since school days...but i never cared to make any collection...just make something and gift it to my friends who promised to take care of it.. i guess it clicked me while playing with chalks in absence of teacher---chalk-war!!...we used to enjoy it lot sometimes!!Risky game!
I feel happy when I see old chunk of carvings safe with someone...
It used to be good time pass for me when I was not involved in animation.
Now I hold the collection of 100+ carvings at my home place.Wish to exhibit the collection some day.

Catching the culprit!!

Let me tell you the story first so that u can relate the video:
I made a plan for vizag trip on weekends but I had lot of shots pending for American Mormon..so i decided to make characters before i leave.
I created 6 egg characters. this is really messy job.
First i need to boil them...one coating of favicol and one coating of white paint so that they can be used for couple of weeks....they stink a lot if i use some shortcuts and finally need to do facial touch and dressing...too much work. ..huh!!.When i came back from the trip, i was pretty shocked ..no clue of even a single egg..what happened at my animation set... I was really pissed off...I need to do the whole process again.
I checked every corner of home to get some clues but no hopes.
Anyways I got some wooden eggs bought from Vizag's beach shops.
So I make up my mind to give a fresh start.
But someone was really testing my patience...next day 3 white wooden eggs were missing in same mysterious way..black and brown eggs were safe :((
wtf...
I was really determined to catch the culprit.So I put a raw egg on the set and left for evening walk .The set was in the surveillance of webcam.When i came back after couple of hours, i caught the culprit YELLOW handed in camera :))...

Toys on Turntable

The above shot is amalgamation of the shots..no story was in mind before taking the shots.
had hard time with the female toy..she got one stiff and one flexible leg which was pretty hard to animate.
The background is just simple cover page of some brochure which is looking good because of light adjustments.

Chroma Keying with 360 spin

The original shot is taken in green screen on turntable system which is designed to be autonomous.
Done editing in After effects using two copies of same shots with and without chroma key.

Gi-joe dancing

As you can notice the white surface....its a layer of double sided tape which is pretty good to make the these Gi-joes stand on point contact.
The whole shot is taken in one single stretch.
Even i don't know anything about dancing ...just did experiments with these toys....
I could do better if I know little bit of Hip-hop moves.
Even I tried to learn some moves from you-tube.
